Find cycling buddies near you.
The riders are out there. You just haven't met them yet. Draft shows who's planning a ride near you, so you can join one and find the people you'll ride with again.
Free. No subscription.
A buddy is someone you've ridden with.
Nobody finds a riding partner by comparing profiles. You find one twenty kilometres into a ride, when it turns out you hold the same pace and laugh at the same things. So Draft doesn't match you with people. It gets you on a ride with them.
Join a ride at your pace, see who turns up, and plan the next one together. The ride is the introduction.
From strangers to a regular group.
Same pace, same roads
Each ride shows its distance, its pace in km/h and whether it's road, gravel, MTB or mixed. The people on it ride the way you do.
See who's in
The host and the riders who joined are on the ride before you commit, along with the spots left.
Bring them along next time
Hosting your own ride? Share its link with the people you met. They open it in Draft and join.
Want a regular riding partner? Post your regular ride.
Your usual Saturday loop is somebody else's missing ride. Post it with the date, start point and pace, and riders within range can find it and join.
Common questions.
- How do I find a cycling partner at my level?
- Go by the pace and distance on each ride. Hosts set a pace bracket in km/h, so you can pick rides that match what you ride alone. The riders who join the same rides are your level.
- I'm new to the area and don't know anyone. Will this work?
- That's what Draft is for. Set your new home base, choose a radius and see what's planned. You don't need an introduction to join a public ride.
- What if there are no rides near me?
- Draft is young and some areas are still filling up. Widen your radius to 50 or 100 km, or post the ride you'd like to join. Every group starts with one ride.
- Is Draft free?
- Yes. Draft is free to download and use, with no subscription.
- Do I need to be a member of a club?
- No. Draft isn't a club and has no membership. Anyone with the app can join a public ride or host one.
